Oxfordshire County Council Conservative Group have selected Cllr Liam Walker as their new Group Leader, following the 2025 local elections.

Liam has served as a County Councillor since 2017 and was re-elected in May as the representative for the new Hanborough & Hailey Division.

Speaking after his election, Cllr Walker said "We might be a smaller team but we will be a constructive opposition working hard to help make Oxfordshire a better place to live, work, and raise a family. I’m looking forward to the work ahead."

The Conservatives now hold just 10/69 seats on Oxfordshire County Council, following the recent local elections.
