Stop the Oxford Congestion Charge

Oxford Congestion Charge

The Liberal Democrat administration at Oxfordshire County Council have announced plans to introduce a £5 congestion charge for cars visiting Oxford city centre.

If approved, the scheme could come into effect as soon as the Autumn and people entering the city via Hythe Bridge Street, St Cross Road, Thames Street, St. Clement’s Street, Marston Ferry Road and Hollow Way could face charges.

Many people rely on their cars and local Conservatives are calling on the Liberal Democrats to scrap these plans and stop penalising road users and local businesses, who will be hit hard by these changes.

Sign our petition below and back our campaign to stop the congestion charge in Oxford.
