Headington Hill & Northway Ward By-election

Following the sad news that Councillor Maureen Christian passed away two weeks ago a by-election has been for her vacant seat on Oxford City Council. The date of the Headington Hill & Northway by-election has been set for Thursday 26th March.

In May 2008 the Conservative candidate, Marc Borja,  came within 40 votes of becoming the first Conservative Councillor to represent the people of Oxford City in 10 years.

The results on 1st May 2008 were:
