Ed Argar selected
to fight Oxford East seat
Conservatives
came out in force to the Town Hall to show their support for
Conservatives and to vote for their new parliamentary candidate.
With three great candidates, Oxford East members were spoilt for
choice, but Edward Argar was selected as the Parliamentary
candidate for Oxford East. Edward, an Oxford gradutate will be
working closely with Oxford City Councillors Paul Austin Sargent
and Dr Tia MacGregor and Nicola Blackwood parliamentary
candidate for neighbouring constituency Oxford West & Abingdon.
A jubilant
Edward commented ‘I am delighted to have been given this
opportunity to represent the people of Oxford. This great city
has been let down by Labour and the Lib Dems for too long. I
look forward to getting stuck in, to make a real difference in
our communities.’
Edward
represents the resuragance in Conservative’s in Oxford, being
led by fellow Oxfordshire MP David Cameron and firmly being
maintained by Oxford City Conservatives in their bid to take
seats on May 1st. |
